Hollywood, Florida, 10-1-15 – After having won an Award of Excellence recognition from the Design Solutions magazine for its work on Brickell House, Hollywood Woodwork received the Standard of Excellence award at the Architectural Woodwork Institute’s annual convention in Salt Lake City.
The magazine’s Award of Excellence program calls for submissions of projects performed by AWI manufacturing members, and award winners are published in the magazine. Each winner is then eligible for recognition as the Standard of Excellence project for its sector. Brickell House was chosen as the Standard of Excellence winner for the Residential Category.
Brickell House, developed by Newgard Development Group, is the first luxury condominium to be completed in Miami since the recent recession. John Moriarty & Associates was the general contractor for the project. The design team included Sieger Suarez Architects and Yabu Pushelberg Designers.
